Info from the above link..... its a free "robin hood" day out. In nottingham. x
TROUBLED tourist attraction the Tales of Robin Hood is offering free entry to visitors from today, Saturday December 27.
Chief executive Ian Walker revealed earlier this week that it was in danger of closure after struggling to meet rent costs.
Now he has announced that people can visit the city centre attraction for free until January 4.
Mr Walker said: "It's just to give children and people who have not been before a chance to come and see it if we have to close - but we are still working on various options at the moment.

    Thanks for the info.
What a shame it's struggling. I have fond memories of being frightened to death there, by the waxworks and the 'realistic' odours! :)

Just to bump (as board quiet over Christmas) & looks like great freebie if you are in the area/can use until 4th Jan - thanks Marty.
  • That's ok. There is free parking on Sunday also on the surrounding roads.
  • Also if you want to do a few more things in Nottingham whilst you visit, the open air Ice rink is open too...... Yep you do have to pay but it's good fun!
It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice
  • Hi,

I was thinking of taking my 3 year old there while, but I saw mention of it being scary.

Can anyone who has been tell me if it is suitable for him, or will we have nightmares for the next six months!

    Thanks,
    K

Yes a bit far for me as well but sounds like a good place to go if anyone is in or near Nottingham this weekend.
