Well I shall try that first thing tomorrow when I go and get my Guide To Your Entitlements fact sheet, from the Help-the-aged centre!

I'll have the lads there tripping over their zimmer frames with glee, and lustful passion!

  • I know it's already been said by quite a few people, but happy new year to all the bootsers and many thanks to the wonderful people who post the glitches!
I've been absent from bootsing for quite a while now, for various reasons. Obviously not long enough though, as I still have 2 huge bags full of stuff gained from my last round of bootsing early last year!

Anyway, I'm back now, safely settled since the middle of Nov in a new job in durham, incidentally only 2 mins drive from quite a large boots, which I have to just about pass on my way home! How will I ever resist?! Maybe 2009 will have to be a super-bootsing year for me? I know what I'll be spending my pay rise from my new job on!
Sorry to hear a few of you have been poorly, hope you're all feeling better and back to the bootsing soon.

Welcome back Julie, what better - a New job close to Boots, (better warn the boss :rotfl: )

Maybe employers should consider putting the location of the nearest Boots on their Job application forms in the future.

I'm not bothering with the sale till it gos to 75% instore so I can get lots of bargains and not spend any money :p .

Thanks to everyone on the thread for welcoming me and my (often) pointless natter :D and for all advice, glitches and support.

I just need to get me and the kids better now so I can go to boots and get some blue pinkies WOOHOOOOO

  • Yes Polls I certainly need them ..still got baby brain 3 years on !!

Not sure if blue eyes got this before it was a GWP (again) though ?!? ~ as before S&G was on 3 4 2..not sure even when changeover day was!

I bought mine on Monday evening when signs said 3 for 2 (not GWP) but I checked with SA if that included the Admit it sets. She said it included everything that did not have the green parcel stickers but at the checkout it wasn't recognised as 342 so it was overridden. Then yesterday Princesswoo post #709 said she'd got some as GWP by buying 3 admit it sets making the purchase over £12 and then getting one as her GWP. I assume changeover day was Tues or Wed.

Thanks Blue-eyes:D Checked out princesswoo's post and it seems that she had a bit of trouble at the tills too?!? Didn't want to push it as I wanted to use my £2 off voucher ( combining offers and all that !) so I will see if anyone automatically gets it free with a £12 spend on other S&G items first before I try again:o

Glad you got yours on 342;)
WOOHOO my prayers have been answered all in 1 day.

Admit it you want me back in stock.

I bought 12 well 9 actually and got 3 free, so thats my mums wedding favours sorted.

I had a bit of an argument with the SA. She said i had to spend £12 on other S&G items to get the sets but i argued that they were included in the offer as they had a SEL of £4.89 eventually she gave in and let me have them :):):)

    snipped..

Popped into the Newport (Wales) retail park Boots today and they have shelves and shelves of half price stuff. They were still putting out boxes of new stuff while we were there.

Funny how the Admit it sets are now available. I managed to find the last one on the shelf and was able to buy it as the other S&G items i wanted for the £12.00 spend were out of stock. I tried to use my £2.00 off voucher but it rejected it firstly as the SA was scanning the wrong side when i pointed it out to her she tried the correct one but again it was rejected. I was told it wasn't available on mini's i did try to convince the SA it was a gift set and not an indivdual mini but she was having none of it. The SA followed this up with well you wont be wanting this now will you - hmm yes i do i've waited so long for this moment...:j

Looks like my plan is flawed at all angles then...no 4 sets ( pay for 3 and get 1 free) and can't use voucher with them Hmm back to the drawing board for me then !
