    Personally I would return it- if it should not have been in the loft then the box should have said so! and unless it was free, its money out of your pocket- think about how much ££ you will save per item in the sale- is it more then the electrical item in question? yet its kep you up till now so must be important enough to matter- some customers make claims past the 1 year under terms and conditions of acceptable time for it to be working- so you wouldn't be doing anything wrong by makeing a claim
    -but ultimatly its your choice- just hate to see someone lose out at the hands of careless manufacturers who are likely to be earning much more then most of us waiting for a boots sale!

    mines accident prone, been at the hospital with him all night - step on a plug went right in his foot. Thats the only reason i gave up my bed for him :rotfl:

    Did not even need an alarm, I thought I will get up at about 4:00 & on the dot I woke up!!!
