I took back one of the Bourjois sharpeners (should have been free) for a refund, as the £2 off coupon did not scan correctly and so I was charged for it. The SA did not ask for my boots card, but refunded the money onto my debit card.
The refund reciept said, " As you have not presented a valid boots card, your debit card has been linked and the reduction in points
will show up next time it is used".

When I went in to boots to get something in the sale, I noticed on my
reciept that the points had been taken off of my boots card!
So it might be best to spend your points first, then they cannot take them away! :)

This happened to me the other day too and the debit card link explains why now, thanks for that. Bit confused though as they took 4 points off me which is the equivalent of having taken the points for a one pound refund but haven't done one of these? Odd.

    Hey!

Hope everyone had a lovely Xmas.

Last night I spotted the Fujifilm Finepix J15fd camera was half price on .dom. (From £176.17 to £88.08) Had to go in store to look at it today though because my OH is a bit fussy!!! The sel still had the price as £179.99 so I asked the SA to check the price for me. The large white display box came up as half price like .com so I said I would take it. But when he scanned the actual black product box containing the camera it came up at £68.08! Another £20 saving! (About 60% off the original) And an extra 250 points with ACM voucher wys £30.

OH is really pleased with the camera, easy to use and good quality pics when uploaded onto the PC.

Don't know if this helps anyone! x

Thanks for this tip - there is a digital camera I fancy and is in the sale online at £78.xx. I would go buy it instore, but only have £69.xx worth of points. I could buy some other things to make up the points, but don't have enough things I need to make another £10 worht of points - however, it sounds like it's worth me checking instore to see if it comes up with a further discount :D

thanks beccye - will report back though won't get to a boots for a few days now

I always seem to get Boots emails ages after everyone else though so hope this is what it is. I really want the L'oreal one in particular!!!

just to confirm you get 750 points per 2 JK items regardless of however you buy in one transaction? i.e 4 = 1500? TIA!

Yep - this is correct, for every 2 JK items you should get 750 points. I have done loads in one transaction and nothing was even said!!! Offcer ends tomorrow though so be quick!

About 5 S&G Glove Story sets in Tamworth Ventura Park at around 18:30, and a couple of the Soaper Helper sets.

None of the wallets that I wanted, but plenty of the luggage tags/passport sets, and credit card holders from the same line. :( Was tempted by the Baileys Miniatures & Glass set for £6, but nothing else really of note.

Yup perfectly correct - I bought 4 x Wipes today & received 1500 points. Please be careful with these though as a lot of them are dated 09/2008 but are still on the shelves!! xxx
