Hi there. Has anyone logged into their account on boots in the last 10 mins. I'm having problems. help! I'm wondering if its me or their system
Hi, I got in fine just now.
Try closing the page, getting rid of your boots cookies, then opening it again, and then logging in. This seems to clear up all but the dreaded basket 'generic error' for me. hth

As for giving free stuff as gifts....it all depends on the person the gift is for. There are people that are worth spending more time and money over and there are people that are not. Throughout the year I will build up stashes of things from various places and at some point before next xmas OH and I will get them out and sort out who can have what. We make sure that the lot goes.

The maxfactor stuff lends itself to going to a couple of people, but it does need topping up. I'll take the labels off and will add a few extra bits...job done. I don't know about the rest yet...but I feel a 'make up / smellies gift basket' coming on. For whom I'm not sure, but it just lends itself in that direction.

Got my mailing vouchers today, what a load of bullish. 2 x 150 when you spend £20 or more; double points and £2.50 off £10.00 healthcare spend. Boohiss!

Saw some posh hair dryer/straightener things and some BabyBliss For Men items on clearance in the Dewsbury store. They had tart loads of S+G Glove Story sets too.

Gosh, had a look at that picture of the woman with the leopard eye make up. Is she meant to look hot or scary? I know for a fact I would leg it in the other direction if I ever bounced in to her. Oh err Missus! Do they have that eye make up in a zebra style? I would love some! LOL. Just kidding.

And I know some people are saying SA's are trolls etc. I used to think exactly the same before, but now I totally disagree. All you need to do is do a little greeting like HI FLOWER/SWEETHEART/PETAL/HONEY (the older female SA's absolutely love it!), smile and flutter your eyelids. If that doesn't work, pout and it's all good. I seem to get it to work for me all the time.

Have a good weekend all. If you get time, say a little prayer for Daddy dearest as he is off to hospital for his 2nd stage of chemo for his cancer. Hope he comes through it OK.

    Thanks lush ladies. Enjoy.

Hi Mimi. Lots of us on here have been/are in Daddy Mimi's club, and know this is difficult time for the family too. Our prayers are with you.:A

PS - If anyone thinks I am off topic, they are wrong. This is not just a list of glitches and bargains, it's a lovely family community.

I go on the Chat Board about once a week, and there are lots of "Over The Garden Wall" posts there, which aren't Boots or shopping related.

But people like Mimi give so much to this board, not just with glitches, but with humour, love and friendship.

And I hope I speak for everyone when I say God Bless Daddy Mimi, and thank God he has a lovely caring son like you.

Keep a look out for the Children in Need EDT for men (100 ml). It was also down to £4.89 from £10.00 (with a donation still going to CIN)

Trouble is, it's made by Girard afaik and their gift sets seem to be getting mixed reviews, but this is quite subtle and smells as nice as some of the other bigger brand named fragrances imo.

Hiya, my first post on this thread so be gentle with me! Just to let you know that I've just logged onto boots.com and ordered a couple of S&G things totalling over £12 and the Admit it set was automatically added to my basket? Or were you all referring to ordering more than one Admit it set?
    Hi StOlli, :hello:
I think the way the glitch works is that this first order goes thru as normal, ( like yours) you save the order to your favourites, then next time you order you should be able to order a S+G mini (so long as a mini was in your original order) and get a S+G 'admit it' set free.

    Hi ladyfalco :hello: welcome
Have you thought about a nappycake for your friend? I'm doing one as we 'speak' between posts. All with Boots glitches, 341's etc :rotfl:. There is a thread in special occaisions. (if you decide to go for it the huggies nappy code on post 1 might still be working?)
