I have the 400D and its great, the 350 also has very good reviews - when I bought mine (in March) it was a toss up between the 350 and the 400 as they seemed very simliar under reviews
With two lenses that is an excellent price. You'll never look back

Cant find the Canon in Comet either.

The Olympus looks a great camera. Going to check it out. Cant find the original price though.

I am looking to buy a Canon EOS but have been unable to find any bargains anywhere. The only ones I can find have reductions of less than £5.

If anyone sees a bargain please let me know!

Got to curryst this morning, the camera was the last one.
The guy wouldnt sell me it though as he couldnt find the other lens, gutted.

He said he will check tomorrow and call me back.

The guy on the phone at comet HQ (I presume) said there weren't any on the system, and my local stores won't pick up the phone!

Has anyone spotted one at either the Gloucester or Cheltenham store?

My thought is that it is the last one in the company. It was not sold because it was missing a lens, and has now been put for sale at a discount. I think the price is supposed to reflect the fact that a lens is missing, although I think the OP should try and haggle another £50 off the price and buy it, seeing as they have no idea what they are selling. That gives a great camera at £159. Even if it is £209 it is still a bargain.

If the OP likes, they can buy it and I will send them the money for it. Ebay have them for 200-300.
