I wanna Dyson - anyone seen one in the sales?

Options
Good Evening fellow MSE's,

I am looking for a new upright vacuum cleaner, I am swaying toward a dyson but am open minded if theres a bargin to be had.

Has anyone seen a good price in the sales?

I have only searched online so far.. was hoping to be able to buy this purchase from my sofa ;) .

Thanks in advance
x

i'm looking for one 2 and found that argos have a great deal on the new ball model dc25 £182 (has a 1/3 off) which i will be getting on monday
    • I came, I saw, I conquered :j
  • Sainsburys had Dysons with £80.00 off in store today. I'm not sure which model it was though but it was an upright one.
  • Hi

Argos have been advertising them cheap recently but I also saw them reduced in Debenhams before christmas.

However we bought one from a local retailer before christmas we found them as competitive as on line and also advantage of buying locally etc

Have you tried Costco but you would need to go to a store.
  • TJ Hughes (if you have one locally) have a few different Dyson uprights in at bargain prices.

If you live near to one of Argos' Clearance Bargains stores they also have a cracking deal on the Dyson Animal Upright (100 cheaper than I could find it anywhere else).

I bought a DC25 Animal recently (no sale reductions unfortunately, but comet appear to be the cheapest for this model).

Just wanted to say, its the new ball model and it is fabulous, the ball makes it so much easier to use!

Try 'Google' and use the 'Shopping' tab facility.

Just pop the Dyson model number in that you want and hit 'Search'. I suggest you adjust the Search return to give you 100 results per page and then grade them from 'Price: low to high'.

You will find the first 1/3rd of the search results are for Dyson DC25 parts. Then the actual vacuum cleaners start to appear at about £182 or so. This is about £90 or so cheaper than John Lewis.

Here's the actual Google Shopping result for the Dyson DC25 :-

Dyson themselves do recon cleaners, as far as I know. I'm sure they would be as good as new. Last time I looked, there were some good deals, but that was a while ago....
