MOT and Service for Metro in Milton Keynes

Hi,

I'm looking for reputable/reasonably priced garage for my 12 year old Metro' service and MOT. Any suggestions.

I do have a reputable garage I've used in the past, but when my last car failed its MOT and needed welding they wanted £450 to do it and even suggested I found someone else to do it.

you may want to put this on the MK thread.. would have got more of a response on there.

But I think there is a Metro Centre in bletchley fenny stratford area that specialise in metros...

I used to use them years ago very good and family business, my metro was my first car .. loads of fun memories.

Although I am ALWAYS told my tyres are 'on their last legs' and I must get some more immediately but that there's sufficient tread to scrape a pass for the MOT. This happens at EVERY garage I take my car to and EVERY time I show them to my tyre bloke he says -"naaaah you got plenty of tread left on them at least two months if not more"!!! I do about 20K per year. It's only coz they sell tyres - I have a mobile tyre fitter to do me (ooh err) he's GM Mobile Tyres located in Buckingham but he comes over to MK to fit your tyres.
