Help wanted - supermarket coupons.

Please can someone let me know if Asda honour other supermarket coupons - ie Tesco total spend ones.

im wanting to know the same too, or of any supermarkets that take tesco vouchers, since having a car id rather drive for 20 minutes rather than go to tesco

My local Argos stores will NOT accept Tesco coupons, don't know if this is nationwide or not but considering the reactions from checkout operators I would presume so as they all seem to be aware of it

My Asda will take Tesco total spend coupons because I used a £10 off a £50 shop yesterday. Asked at customer services - said a friend had heard about it but I didn't know if it was true or not. She didn't think so but she called a manager over who said yes. No problem at all. One happy shopper.

Our local Asda don't take other shops' vouchers (whereas Tesco do - ??? ). Guess it's down to the individual shop's policy.

My Asda has huge posters outside saying they accept Tesco vouchers - now I just need to get my hands on some!

The Tesco store I shop at will not take other store "product coupons" . By this I mean a coupon for example 50p beans and has the Tesco/Asda logo or whoever stamped across it.
It will however take spend specific coupons . For example - spend £50 - get £10 off.

Tesco will take store specific coupons but you must buy the product. Manufactures coupons on the other hand are accepted even if you havent bought the product aslong as it is sold instore.

I hope this helps. I go shopping every week at Tesco and usually get on average £10 per week off my bill. ;D

theres a large sign outside my local tesco stating they accept "Asda spend and save" coupons

Thank-you all for your help.
Took a Tesco spend £60 save £12 into Asda, checked with customer service first - no problem. Young lad on till informed me I was in Asda - DOH but when I explained, he took it reluctantly.
