If you wanted to sell ur soap or other homemade cosmetics, u could try this website they sell safety regulations that enable u to sell soap or other stuff as long as u purchase ingredients from them. They have a good range of stock to choose from and delivery is very fast.Hope this is helpful.

Agree absolutely with everything Sally says. I've been making soap for a few years, but only for myself, family and friends. I had to stop for a while because it is quite addictive and I had a cupboard full of soap. You will find homemade soap will keep your hands very soft.
I certainly wouldn't let children anywhere near soapmaking. It is safe enough so long as you take precautions, but children can be too unpredictable. There is a lot of stirring/bizzing (hand blender) and it's easy for splashes to happen. Definite no no.
If you want to let the children make soap, you could get some of the melt and pour stuff. It comes in a block and you just melt it and add colour and scent and then pour into moulds. This would be fairly safe.
Having said all that, don't be afraid of making it yourself. So long as you are careful to protect yourself and realise that caustic soda is dangerous. When I first read all about soapmaking I was too afraid to try it. Then I looked at it again, tried it and then I couldn't stop making it!
Try a recipe first and then you can make your own using a lye calculator. https://www.the-sage.com is a very good site. Loads of recipes for soap and other things. You can use their lye calculator and print out your own recipe.0 -
