Hi, after seeing their name on here i decided to contact them.
Before hand i was set on going bankrupt but after speaking to them they say maybe an iva would be better.
Anyone else delt with PayPlan and if so what were your dealing like ? any good ? recommend ? or should i stay away ?
also just want to clear up, if you go bankrupt, does it clear your credit rating ? how about with an iva ? what happens with your credit rating then ?

Hi cd
I am dealing with Payplan have to say more than happy with the advice and service so far and it keeps the creditors off your back once you mention Payplan to them. from my point of view only praise for them.
Right Bancruptcy DOES NOT clear your credit file it it will worsen your credit file and remain on there for 6 years, making it very difficult to obtain credit at all.
In respect of an IVA the situation is pretty much the same as with bankruptcy. My personal view is if you are in this situation then your credit file ( like mine) is stuffed anyway so the best bet is get the best advice you can and move on from there.0 -
Payplan are very friendly and always return calls. They are sympathetic and supportive. They could not help me but I would recommend giving them a try to anyone. Good Luck.

I phoned paypal this morning and have an appointment to speak to them Thursday evening. Incredibly nice on the phone.
Louise - thanks for all your support last week, much appreciated, hope you are doing well.0 -
I love browsing through these forums and spotting all the Ebayers. Just like me when typing PAYPLAN you so want to put PAYPAL. As you eat sleep and live Ebay. I think a need to start an Ebay theropy company and I'll become an overnight millionaire I can pay my debts then. :idea:0

Bankruptcy does not claer your credit rating. It will infact affect you rating as teh bankruptcy Order is advertised in teh local paper where you live and there fore it will be picked up by Equifax and Experian who will add your bankruptcy to your credit file. Anyone carrying out a search on you will then know that you are bankrupt. Again even with an IVA it is registered with the Insolvency Service and therefore it will also be picked up by the credit reference agency and it will affect your credit rating . Probably not as much as bankruptcy.
