Pay car loan with credit card?

Hi All,

I have a final payment due in June for my car finance with GMAC UK. I also now have a spare 0% card free because of the MFI rubbish!

Am I able to use my card to pay my final payment off - instead of cash!?

    What was the result of this? I am just starting to plan my final payment to GMAC.

    Incase anyone else is interested in the answer in the future.

    For final car finance payments GMAC accept

    Debit cards
    Credit Cards - 2.75% fee
    Cheque
    Direct Payment to their bank

    They do not have the ability to request the final amount from the Direct Debit used for the monthly payments.
