    Not much to report today but did manage to save £1.59 in my local corner shop by buying stuff from their reduced shelf - their shelf makes me laugh because it invariably has stuff on there that is well within date such as Bisto onion gravy granules which have a useby date of May 2010:rotfl:

    Have just placed £15 of matched bets in freebies for the new year that the bookies were kind enough to give me - so should clear around £13 profit when they pay out. Did the scratchies again as well but no biggies for me.

    Sort of got out of matchbetting last year after making a few grand, but this has spurred me on to maybe open a few new accounts :T over the next few weeks.

    Could be that they're discontinued lines or slightly damaged packaging :) I know when I worked in a local shop when a new shelf plan would come in anything that wasn't on the new one got reduced to get shot of it asap! Crazy!

    Sold something on ebay overnight so finally have a little to add to my total - £7.91 after fees

    Having a cr*p day - bought new bathroom scales in the sales just before New Year and they arrived today and I'm way heavier than I thought, only to be told by my bf that I now probably weigh the same as him :cry: not what I needed to hear when I'm feeling sh*t as it is over millions of other things :rolleyes:

    Anyway, what little working time I have left of today (blooming dinner) moneymaking wise I'm going to:

    * Do the scr* tchcard
    * Photograph the collectable toys ready for listing tomorrow

    Yesterday I saved £29.93 in The Body Shop buying stuff that was half price as well as a VAT reduction and the Love Your Body discount.

    I bought two gift sets for £10 each (reduced from £20 each) that will be great birthday presents - one will be used soon, the other I got for "stock" as not sure who'll get it yet! Also got a few normal bits for me, all in the sale.
    Debt Jan 2008: £45,566. *** June 2013: DEBT FREE! ***
    Paid back just under £50,000 due to some interest added.
