Sold 2 books on Green Metropolis so another £6 in the kitty bringing my total up to £98. this month yay!

Just so I know, do you just add the extra money you've made by selling things/doing MS/overtime etc. or do you add the money you've saved as well, so £5 off at boots or cost of prize if you've won something you would have been buying anyway?

i see this thread is still going strong!

I joined this challenge a long time back when batgirl first started it and it went brilliantly! Its amazing how with a little effort you can easily up your income.

i would like to join in for feb as i've got my daughters and boyfriends birthdays coming up one aftre the other and i've promised DD a Wii :eek: ....well not promised but said it might be possible if I can raise the funds so i've made a start on selling and have threatened my dad and told him i'm going to clear his garage out!

I'm also going to try and start back comping again so hopefully the thread will be up and running soon??

MOst distressingly this morning i forgot my travelcard and had to pay £8.60 for a 3 zone day travelcard - how outrageous is that? And I won't get a refund either as I've forgotten my card more than once in the past year. Pretty tight of them, I think. So I'v eset myself a challenge to make at least £8.60 today to make me feel better!

Today I managed to save £5 in total on various purchases made when I went shopping today. Mind you I suppose I should really add the cost of a bus ticket to that as well because I didnt use the bus I walked there and back instead:j
