That sounds great! Where do you sell them?

I do a weekly cupcake order for a couple of delis; this was a private commission. Just been paid for it, so that's another £50 earned - and it's taken me to over my Jan total! Hooray!

Well done Sarah - that's brilliant.

Don't you find this challenge makes you do stuff that you normally couldn't be bothered with? This is my seventh month and I'm still feeling motivated.

    Well done fabulousgirl and sarahs999!

All this talk of cakes is making me hungry.

Got paid for the ebay item that ended last night and would have had more to add but I missed a best offer, doh! That'll teach me not to but an automatically accept value on. Why do people put best offers on at the last few mins?

  • Hey everyone :D Hope you're all good, and keeping up the good work!

Got a few things to add today, after having a really quiet week! £1 Valued Opinions, £1.23 worth of Tesco club card points, 30p Onepoll and my first mystery shop payment has arrived in my account, £15. Ohh and it was my birthday yesterday - got mainly lovely pressies so didn't think I'd get any money, but got £30 to add too :D Looks like I might be able to make my target after all this month! Just missed out on a mystery shop, as someone else nabbed it as I was doing the training for it…never mind, doing another 2 tomorrow.

Got a nice £85 parking fine yesterday too, which nearly ruined all my good work - BUT then realised it isn't a proper council one, it's from a private parking company, and after a bit of research I have discovered they are just con-artists, and can't enforce anything against you without taking you to court (which they won't do, but even if they do I will go and fight them because it was a really unfair charge - I was only there an hour, and they only put the parking restrictions up yesterday, they haven't even bothered putting any signs at the entrance yet, people in our town have parked there for years with no problems, and the car park was EMPTY so they can't claim I caused them £85-worth of damage by being there... plus I did go into one of the shops in the retail park anyway - I just went to the cash machine across the road first, which apparently isn't allowed!) - so I'm going to be brave and fight them, and not give them a penny! Argh, it has really annoyed me though, they are such bullies! Sorry for the rant!
    Hey glitterjunkie

I'm making money off my talents lol! I set up some fitness classes to do in my sparetime as my full time job pays rubbish and basically I'm finding all the free ways to get people through the door that I can (putting in free bit of paper, Netmums website etc) and I've been getting over 40 in every class which has NEVER happened for me before.

This is income over and above my salary (as its a hobby really) and plus the income isn't guaranteed. The less people that come - the less I make - I have found since doing this challenge my classes have become so much more profitable and fingers crossed - I might be able to transition it into my full time job when I've paid my debts off - finally I would be happy!

That's brilliant! I bet this challenge motivates you even more to do the classes too :D Unfortunately I don't think I have any talents - well not ones people would want to learn anyway, unless they want to follow me on a trolley dash round the high street to see who can buy the most shoes in an hour or something :rotfl:Hope it carries on going well for you!

Attempting to pay off our debts! Balances Jan 2018 -
    Family member £3,700 - Virgin CC £1,000 - MBNA £1,700 - Barclaycard £2,500 (was £2,700) - Halifax CC £1,280

Just had my first £5 amazon voucher code off BP, BUT could someone clarify, says I have to redeem via that mail, was wanting to build up the codes to put to eg a dvd for sons birthday - has anyone done this? I usually just go into amazon and list the codes to use but couldn't the way I have read my email, would just be able to use one voucher off each item, IYKWIM - am I being thick? Ta!
Hi, I've redeemed a few BP amazon vouchers just by going to the Amazon site and listing the codes. I suspect BP get some cashback if you follow their link....

Glitterjunkie - signs are supposed to go up 3 months before they start charging or clamping its the law. Fight the stinkers and report them to trading standards too.

Jesa, I have sent you a PM but didnt read the post properly hope you understand that I would like the link to you know what.:D

1000 ConsumerPulse points for me today for a survey plus 75p from YouGov (my total with them is creeping up slowly currently standing at £18.75)

I've got lots and lots of PMs to read so I'll make sure to get back to you all in the next couple of hours I promise

Fabulous - I would start counting again in Feb if I was you as it will give you more motivation to make the money again, but thats just my opinion and if you want to carry over your extra made this month I don't think anyone would object to that. I prefer to exceed my target so thats what I would do and add it all to Jan rather than feb
(I'm not sure that makes any sense - I have a bad head cold!)
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155
