  • I had barclaycard ringing me 4 days before my BR wanting me to pay £6 to hold my account until i had gone BR, i soon told them where to sod off to!

  • Barclaycard is a nightmare! They have been hounding me since I missed my first payment after going BR.

I have given them the details each time I've spoken to them, but they refuse to acknowledge that I'm bankrupt and I have now simply given up answering the phone as I've sent them the details in the post as well.

Good luck for your BR in the new year and telling Barclaycard where to go!
  • Yes, Barclaycard are indeed assh*les for being so persistent!

Even though I told them by phone I was BR, gave them the case number and the OR office to contact, and also posted copies of the paperwork as proof, they still wouldn't accept I was BR until I could give them the name of the OR dealing with my 'case'... I told them they had all the info I had, so they could f*ck off and do a bit of work themselves for a change, and that as far as I was concerned that was the end of the matter and if they persisted in calling me 'to discuss my situation' again they'd keep getting told to f*ck off until they got it through their thick heads!

Sometimes you have to be a bit heavy with people like that.

Oh I remember those calls well! I had them this time last year. Barclaycard phoned me everyday from 8:30 am every morning up until 8:59 every evening. It will eventually stop.
