There seem to be a lot of these offers going about. I think this is the best phone I have seen so far. It hasn't got a camera but does what a phone should do: makes calls and send texts.

Just wanted to say a quick thank you - didn't order that phone but there is a pretty pink alcatel basic for the same price plus the gift voucher means that they have paid me 15p for my youngest DD's 8th birthday next year! :j

I know she's too young to have a phone but she'll hardly use it. The trials of being the youngest means that she spends much time moping around the house complaining that she is the only one without a phone!!

She'll be seriously chuffed with this to put into her 'handbag' and it means that I don't have to hang around whilst she is at dancing - I can wander off for an hour and she will be able to call me to say she is ready - the joys of modern parenting!!!:D

Just for info, I have received this phone, it is locked to the Virgin network, it comes with £10 credit on ot.

I have had a search about the Internet, but the C300 does not appear to be a phone that can be unlocked by just entering a code in the handset. It requires to be unlocked by connecting to a box normally used by most back street phone unlocking places (who usually charge between £15 and 20 to do this).

So, if you have decided you dont want the bother to do this, I suggest you return the phone to Tescos for recycling using one of their dedicated Freepost envelopes. This way you will get 300 Clubcard points which are worth £12 in Clubcard Deals.

If you have bought the phone via Quidco, the phone should only have cost you £4.95 so you will actually have made some money

my 1st thread reply, so bare with me.

me and my o/h ordered one each when they first went on hotdeals, ours came this AM were over the moon with them, the screen is small yes but for that price who could say no, the pic quality is brill, its like a mini ipod, so cute, about the size of a lighter.
sound quality great too, as its a music player too.
still trying to figure out the new text thing i am that use to my other phone.

its well worth the wait, i alwyas seam to miss the bargains too!! i was lucky this time,lol:T

Doesn't work to unlock the phone. I don't think you can do this phone with codes. Has anybody tried one of these "clips" you can get off ebay for a few quid?

Did you get the voucher in with the phone as it says they will send it to you within 7 days. ... I didn't get anything in with my phone.

Update: Got my voucher code today by email,again went into junk mail!

got an email saying that I will receive it but no voucher yet.

Update: Got my voucher today, but it did go to my Spam folder, so keep a look out for it!
