Wii Remote Charging Station

I have recently bought a wii and have been advised to get a charging station for the remotes. I intend to have 4 remotes altogether, and have found the following chargers on Amazon.

The first one has a fan on it to cool the console - can anyone advise whether this is necessary please? If so, then it seems the first and the third items together would be best, otherwise the second one if a fan isn't necessary. Alternatively, is a stand for the console necessary at all, as I could just get two of the third item if not.
Any advice would be appreciated.
