  • Hiya, I got my 6yr old a little tikes camera, similar to the kid tough one for £20 in tj hughes, they still has them earlier this week so they should still be there hopefully. it's a nice pink one, holds 1000 pics and easy to use though not really had the chance to test it properly being christmas, lol. hth michelle

my son also got the little tikes on from TJ hughes.
Its good for his age (2 years old) but the delay is a bit of a problem and the flash is very Bright
  • I bought my son the fisher price kid tough camera. Bought it from woolworths when they had 30% off. He loves it. But buy rechargeable batteries!!
  • The vtech ones are just as good too my children got them for xmas haven't stopped playing with them my 3 yr old took 528 pictures on xmas day alone lol !!
  • Why dont you try the camera that Lloyds have at the moment for £7.50 (available on line) - dont know what the quality is like but worth a go. Failing that Costco had the vtech one for £30ish plus VAT.

Another vote for the V-Tech - which I picked up from Costco for £29 + VAT. Like all of the others, I suspect its better at taking pictures outside in good light, but its been played with non-stop since it was unwrapped. It has a flash, can take video clips, can take an SD card to increase the storage (so you can easily take 528 photos!!!) and also has some games on, though we haven't investigated them so I don't know how they work.
