http://www.homebase.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=20001&catalogId=1500000701&langId=-1&searchTerms=Caversham+Solid+Pine+Double+Bed%2FLow+Foot%2FLuxfirm+Mattress.
It's same item - this weekend it's 10% off days, too - plus use/get a Spend n Save card in store for even more discounts.
You'll possibly, or possibly NOT see it in your local branch, as they've all got some different ideas of which items to display!!
But at least you can send it back, if you really didn't like it!!
We've bought all our beds there & are just fine - all on different offers, at various times.
One nearest to yours is http://www.homebase.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=20001&catalogId=1500000701&langId=-1&searchTerms=chcihester that we got - fantastic value, 'cos we even got a £200 matress for £10, as it was a ex-display!!
Avoid anyone offering these type of matresses, as they've got nothing to them http://www.homebase.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=20001&partNumber=1756717&Trail=searchtext%3EMATRESSES
& if you're near Ikea, they've really come on well with their beds/matresses - long guarantee (of sorts)
too. But beware of buying bed/slats/mmatress as all seperate items, so the £$£$ might not be as low as you thought.

I bought that bed a couple of years ago and my advice would be to save your money, its pretty flimsy and didnt last long.0

Personally, I would go and have a look around your local small businesses etc first.
I have just bought a bed from a local small shop for £230 delivered and assembled. Its almost identical to one that is being sold in Dreams for £400 but actually better quality.
My lad has had 2 "cheap" beds my Mum in Law bought for him (divans from Littlewoods) and has successfully managed to break both of them within 6 months.0 -
Just avoid Argos and Homebase if you want quality0

If you see someone without a smile give them one of yours,
It wont cost you anything!
