looking at the caversham doublebed is it any good any recommends, im looking for a complete double bed and mattress, or does anyone know of a bettr deal, i dont really know one mattress from another. can someone help plz

& if you're near Ikea, they've really come on well with their beds/matresses - long guarantee (of sorts)
too. But beware of buying bed/slats/mmatress as all seperate items, so the £$£$ might not be as low as you thought.

I bought that bed a couple of years ago and my advice would be to save your money, its pretty flimsy and didnt last long.

Personally, I would go and have a look around your local small businesses etc first.

I have just bought a bed from a local small shop for £230 delivered and assembled. Its almost identical to one that is being sold in Dreams for £400 but actually better quality.

My lad has had 2 "cheap" beds my Mum in Law bought for him (divans from Littlewoods) and has successfully managed to break both of them within 6 months.
