first xmas with no credit cards

i knew this year was going to be tugh, just never realised how much so.....first year in ages iv had to buy the kids the basics, no expensive stuff this year.....of course the kids didnt show it.....my little soldiers..but how hard is it going to be for them to go back to school with no top of the range gear.......i hate the banks.....all i needed was another !0k card which would hav given me the chance to pay off the 60k i owe them.....im dreading next xmas already

The other kids may not have the top of the range gear too! Lots of parents are going through the same thing as you. So I hope you can take some comfort in the fact that you're not on your own.
The main thing is that you are with your kids at Xmas!

Not spending money that isn't yours this Christmas is a great start towards being debt free. There's tons of support here, like someone said on the Debt-Free Wannabe board. If you can do it once, you can do it again
