Exchanging an item without a receipt?

Merry Christmas all. Basically, I bought a bucketload of stuff from The Body Shop, wrapped them all up and gave them to family members as gifts.
Earlier today when we opened our presents, we noticed that the lid of the body butter that I brought had a little slit and when gently pushed down, you could smell the body butter, effectively meaning the body butter was open.
We haven't touched the plastic packaging or anything and we're planning to go to The Body Shop tomorrow to exchange the damaged one we have now for one which isn't damaged. Trouble is, I've put the receipt somewhere and can't find it, I also paid by cash although I have a body shop member card. Would they let me?
Many thanks :D

I have had a refund without a receipt before and it was just because it was an unwanted present. They are usually pretty good, its obvious you got it from there so take the broken pot back in and ask for an exchange. Sure it will be fine.

    Merry xmas :j
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
