Merry Christmas to all, especially you Gen, you still come on here with words of wisdom, even though you left the place for climates warmer, and to a country run by a government that actually can manage a pi$$ up in a brewery, unlike this shambles.
With each passing day the pull of Oz is getting stronger and stronger, especially with my daughter there. I'm off over there on Jan 10th for 3 weeks, I guess my mind will be much more focused then.0 -
I bet one of your new year wishes will be for a computer keyboard with an apostrophe key included

Merry Christmas everyone.
We all grumble about England (Scotland, Ireland and Wales) but there are few better places to live. Right now my thoughts are with our troops in Afghanistan, Iraq and around the world. I hope they return safely. (a little perspective)
To the ex-pats. Merry Christmas. England will always be regarded as home just as I call North Yorkshire MY home.
Best wishes.

Seconded! Merry Christmas everyone!"there are some persons in this World who, unable to give better proof of being wise, take a strange delight in showing what they think they have sagaciously read in mankind by uncharitable suspicions of them"(Herman Melville)0 -
