I just saw that there is a programme on at 9-15am on BBC 1 called ebat the bailiffs. For any-one worried about a bailiff calling and what you can do about it. Hope this helps some-one.

Just watched it, good programme about being in debt and how to wake up and smell the coffee before it gets to the bailiff stage.Mortgage-free wannabe!0

I recorded yesterdays, watched 5 mins then turned it off. It all seemed a bit to staged for me. Yesterdays man in debt had a "look at me I'm on TV" feel to him. Didn't like it.0

Didn't see this one but remember one from many years ago. I was sure they chose the town they filmed in just so they could hear the words "baliffs...on orders of the Sheriff of Nottingham..."A house isn't a home without a cat.

I have writer's block - I can't begin to tell you about it.
You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.

I think that it makes debt seem like a game, after all its a TV show, IMHO this show ( thats what it is) is WRONG, I do get the point about it making ppl wake up, but its too light hearted.Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!0

UKTVPeople are repeating "Bailiffs" on a Sunday morning (could be late Saturday too) if anyone's interested ...0

I missed it when it was shown. I bet some people would find it terrifying. It's good as a warning to people not to let their debt get out of hand, but once it has then it's a bit patronising.Barclaycard 3800

i find a lot of the TV debt programmes really patronising and some of the people featured on them drive me insane as they dont seem to want to help themselves0
