Ohhh go on then although I don't know where you find the time to keep up with them all - there are so many!
Just had a quick look at the money I am expecting in this month. Not surprisingly even if I don't do any further 'work', the payouts will achieve my target; this is because I tried to do all my Christmas shopping early so cashback has now become due.
I've also decided to include money-saved from any shopping that I do so if the till receipt tells me that I have saved £3.46, then I shall put that on the mortgage. I'm not sure how successful this will be as I bought the items because they were on offer and needed to keep in budget so I might have to stop this one if too much money is being saved. :rotfl:
Have also found that because I am overpaying the mortgage everytime I receive a payment, I am getting a little obsessive about checking the mortgage balance to see if the payment has cleared. Hopefully the novelty of this will soon wear off because it isn't what I should be spending my time doing.
No overpayments today but have put in chasers for missing ip*ints and mutual points.

Today, I have made another overpayment of £29.00 made up of £10 received from a bing* site and the rest from money saved on shopping. Didn't actually spend a great deal but had several credit notes from Asda which reduced the bill.
Should be eBaying but don't have the energy at present....

Thank you SMF. Has your outstanding mortgage reduced by £1k? Well done!
Well nothing very exciting today - a payment from Amazon so another £4.98 paid off the mortgage.
Also very surprised to see that Woolworths has paid out on a cashback transaction. Unfortunately can't take it out of the cashback site yet as I didn't believe it would happen so withdrew the balance a couple of weeks ago. Oh well will have to find something to earn £25 on CBK.

Thank you Smlsave.
I'm finding writing everything down as very motivational. I'm also overpaying each penny as it comes in (as long as it is a £1 or over) rather than save it in a separate pot which I did last year.
Money that has come in so far is almost 100% related to things done last year. Obviously this will soon dry up so from next week I shall be doing 'new things' to bring the cash in. Watch this space - hope there is something in there that can be of use to you!

Thought I would post an update as I was shocked to find that my mortgage payment has gone out - doesn't time fly when you are having fun?? :rotfl:
Mortgage now stands at £85,460 (this also includes a £3k payment I made from a failed Icesave ISA) but with January's payment going out, in a few days the balance should be £84,657. Only £19,157 to go!!
This weekend I shall be listing books, DVDs, videos, magazines and CDs on eBay, GreenMetropolis, Amazon and Play. Not sure that there are enough hours in a day to do it all but have found that some money I was expecting to be in this month won't be, so if I want to hit my interest target this month, will have to bring it in through selling.
Have a good weekend.
