A few tips for the chaos of Christmas shopping in Inverness.

Rose Street multi story car park is only 20 pence for 2 hours on floors 7,8 and 9.

Debenhams do a nice 6 item breakfast in their restaurant in their shop in the Eastgate for £2.99. If you buy a regular Cappachino (instead of a Large) with the £2.99 breakfast you get the coffee at 99p.

Any other tips?

Lidl Bargain Base down the Carse has some good discounted items which you wouldnt get too upset about if they broke over Christmas.

Use your Highland Railcard for half price travel around the region into Inverness centre to avoid the traffic, parking and also wintery roads.

We got into Rose street no problem last Tuesday Problem with the Railcard is you have to drag all your shopping with you on the train! Are the left luggage lockers in the station open?

I got to Aldis this time, I meant to try Lidl's and to go to their bargain place, must make it next time.
