Two points to this message.
Firstly, Bundle through the post this morning from Empire Stores offering £10 OFF first order PLUS FREE TELEVISION & SOUND SYSTEM SET when I spend £20 or over. No catches except TV may (and I expect will) be replaced by voucher. Found something we need and it is only £21 so will order. https://www.empirestores.co.uk may get you something.
BUT-
This I, and I expect all of you cos your like me, found hillarious. The description of the FREE Television & Sound System Set is as follows-
"You'll really enjoy your FREE..........etc...you'll be able to relax and enjoy your favorite TV programmes as well as listen to all the latest music from the very best recording artists!! And the great news is your fantastic FREE TV........will be delivered directly to your home...etc."
So what is it? A state of the art MP3 & Video Player? Nope it is a small B/W TV with Radio that is £9.99 at Woolworths!
I hope you found it as funny as me, or will this message just get deleted for being in the wrong place?

lol, that brought back memories. My mum got one free some time last year and I'd be surprised if it was even worth £9.99.

It was made of crappy plastic and the picture was awful. The again, what do we expect for nothing, lol

I went ahead and ordered something for over £20 well £30 but i got the £10 off so I'm happy with that part. ...but gutted a b/w TV GUTTED what a fool I am.
I knew it was going to be one of those small things, but my fellar wanted to take it work and watch the footy lol. arhh well.

I got this mailer through the door this morning, made me feel special too, with personalised 'offers' unique to me lmao. I was contemplating it but now I see what trash it is, it can be filed in my recycle bin

i was quite pleased with my freebie tv as i can charge it up in the car and use it for camping on those dreaded rainy days hee hee

I got my free telly today. Still haven't managed to tune it in. Think it will only work with 'proper' aerial. Wouldnt pay a tenner for it but had a laugh anyway.
