Childrens Clothes,

Hi I think this may be in the wrong place so will add information of a Sale too.
2moz is the Jojo maman Bebe sale
Right quick question, my 5 year daughter has just started to move into size 3-4 clothes and mainly has 2-3. Does any one know of any where that I can get her some cheap clothes, money is really tight but she is in need of some bits.

  • Have you tried local charity shops? I've managed to get about a quarter of LO's wardrobe from charity shops in local towns. You can get really nice stuff like OshGosh, Next and H&M often, in very good condition, though I'm sure that varies from area to area.

I also find Tesco kids clothes reasonable quality for the price.
  • I would 2nd charity shops. Also primark, matalan, peacocks, tescos, QS. They dont wear them out that much at that age.

Thanks I will try charity shops, I do usuall go in them but have not been able to find anything for her. I will try again after Xmas as I suspect people will be getting rid of old clothes.

  • Tescos have some bargain clothes in at the moment in their sales, we found quite a bit of 2-3 year stuff for our daughter. Also go into Woolworths aswell, our store had all clothes at 50% off and we found alot of the essentials in there (t-shirts, jeans etc). I think we saved about £16 on 9 items in Woolies. Worth noting that they had school uniform stuff at something like 70% off.

Also try and hit Freecycle to see if anyone has anything going.
  • Gap have good reductions once their sale has been going a while, I also use charity shops and Ebay -- use this website
    http://www.lastminute-auction.com/uk/
which shows items going in the next hour for a £ or less - though watch that the postage charge is reasonable (it should be clearly stated). Good luck!
  • I would try Tesco, Sainsburys have good quality clothes that last too.
