Letter from Santa

Daughter has added a puppy on her Christmas list, which we cannot get her, but we were going to get her a dog teddy and do a letter from Santa explaining why she cannot have a real one. Does anyone know where I can find a template that looks better than a basic letter I can type in word, but not in pdf (so that we can type the letter from Santa, so she does not recognise the handwriting)?

Thanks

Are you sure you need to? I asked for a Pony every year but never got one, Santa never explained why (although my parents did :-)

I did this one year when I couldn't find a particular present my daughter had asked for.

I just used a word doc but fancied it up with a xmas border, used red print and a fancy font. I couldn't find a template...but that's not to say there aren't any of course.

Daughter was delighted with her letter and didn't care that she never got her original want.

I always do my own letter from santa to baby grandson -he's too young to understand but I did it for the older ones and found various reasons why some things they asked for weren't possible ........used some handwriting type font on Word and added a piccy of santa, signed it myself in different handwriting
They were always quite happy with it that way.

    Off a website :

Let's see what you put in your letter for Christmas wishes: 1. doggy; 2. transformers and; 3. lego set. HO!! Ho!! ho!! I see you'd like a special little friend for Christmas! Whether you want a real puppy or just a pretend one, caring for a puppy takes a lot of work and love! Santa and Rudolph want to make sure all pets are loved and cared for (just like you!) so, just to be sure, we'll have to check with your family to make sure its ok with everyone. I hope you'll talk to your family about getting a puppy too. But remember, just because I can't bring you a puppy this year doesn't mean you don't deserve one. Sometimes the puppy you want needs extra special care or pets aren't allowed where you live. Of course, if you do get a puppy for Christmas, the two of you will have to email Rudolph every year to let him know how you're doing! Leaping Lightbulbs, Legos! That's just what I thought you'd want! I like to play with them too. Of course, I have to be careful I don't get the blocks stuck in my whiskers and walk around for days again before noticing (Oh boy, THAT was embarassing! No wonder the elves and Mrs. Claus kept giggling!).
