Returning Non Sale items

Does anyone know if you can return items you bought in a shop before the Sale and then rebuy them at the sale price?
I have heard you can but I'm not so sure.
Any ideas?
Thx

The legal answer is no, unless your statutory rights apply.
The shops answer is a maybe, depending on the retailers policy and goodwill. But it will be goodwill and nothing else. These are my thoughts and no one else's, so like any public forum advice - check it out before entering into contracts or spending your hard earned cash!
I don't know everything, however I do try to point people in the right direction but at the end of the day you can only ever help yourself!0 -
If you have the receipt and they are within the time and they have the labels on/unworn etc you could take them back then go and find the same item in the sale and take that to the counter and buy it. If I were you Id go and find the replacement items first incase you miss out. Or it you mean take them to the counter and ask to return the item and then buy the same item straight back to you at the sale price, well... I've heard it being done, personally I wouldn't, but depends if you have the nerve and if the sales assistant is feeling generous.0

A shop has no obligation to refund/exchange or give credit for any item unless it is faulty.
If their policy allows, I can't see why not though.DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 19017/05/08 - Total on DMP: £10025.7007/05/14 - Total on DMP: £1666.20 DFD: July 2017!!Baby Tomos born 5th June 2009 - 6lb 5oz :jWeight Loss Target - to lose 60.8lb by NYE 2015 - 37.6lb TO GO0 -
Don't be surprised if the shop offers to refund you the Sale price!
After all, they have no obligation to refund you anyway, unless the item is faulty.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0
