  • Or, for a bit more money, you can get their multisnack version which does waffles, toasties and donuts:

Got one of these today but will be returning it tomorrow, they should be called dough-bother instead of dough-nuts, i dont know if it was the one i had but the bottom plate got a lot hotter than the top one, used it four times just to make sure id followed the instructions right, still the same results burned bottom and soft top. Never mind the £1 i get for reserve and collect will go towards the cost of the ingredients

I've read a few reviews and the dedicate donut maker gets good reviews.

It seems to be a fairly good make and model.

If you want to see the recipe for this class of machine this is a fair guide from another company but it should give you a feel for what the Argos unit will do.

Homebase still sell the same unit for £19.99 and Argos had reduced it to £14odd, the price today is excellent!

If people are after cheap electrical items like this there is an Argos coffee maker for £4 or £3 odd with the £1 quidco for reserve and collect.

Dixons / Currys have the Simpson Waffle machine for £5 + P&P or £9odd in store.

I have that one, bought mainly because of the waffle plates but I found it quite a faff to make the waffles so have only used it once for those. The donuts are nice though, and we used it earlier today for toasted sandwiches. I love the fact that the plates are removable, making it easier to clean.
