hi,
i bought a drill from argos for my boyfriend this week, but now have decided to keep it for his birthday in january rather than giving it to him for christmas.
it was a good deal, reduced from £99.99 to £65, but now I am wondering if it will be reduced again on the 26th or so.
If this happens, will I be able to return it to argos for a refund (and then buy it again... probably not very ethical i know!) or will they only offer me a refund based on the new sale price?
Thanks!

I did this one year bought something that was £50 cheaper after Christmas, went into Argos bought it again, picked it up at the counter and straight back to the then return desk with the other receipt. No issues at all. At the end of the day every penny counts.0

hiya,
as long as you've got the receipt you can return it within 30 days of purchase for full refund ie the price you paid...if you don't have the receipt then they will give you a refund onto a gift card at the most recent selling price.
also, if it says 'christmas gifts' in pen at the top of the receipt (written by a member of staff of course
) then you have 30 days from christmas day!!

It's not the most recent selling price we refund onto a gift card, it's the LOWEST selling price that the item has ever been.[DISCLAIMER: Any posts made by myself are my opinions and do not represent my employer]

the sale price may be higher than what you paid
