Can I use a muffin tin instead? (Molten chocolate puddings)

I really want to make http://www.lakeland.co.uk/L?content=noticeboard/recipes/chocolate_puddings.htm but don't have a tin/individual tins (like http://www.lakeland.co.uk/F/product/11305) to make them in. Can I use a muffin tin instead?

Yes I would think that would be OK. Might be a good plan to push a square of parchment paper into each to help get them out.

Thank you again! The recipe looks so good and I'd rather wait to see if I can snap up anything after Christmas :)

Theoretically you could use muffin cases, I have done this for the sticky toffee and ginger puddings, but the chocolate ones won't be as robust if you have them suitably squidgy in the middle. I think it would be too much of a fiddle getting them out. You should be able to just flatten the paper and tip gently into a dish/onto a plate.

I've been using the Nigella lawson recipe from Domestic Goddess and putting them in the little aluminium pudding basins. Do you have ramekin dishes? those would be another possibility.
