4OO WATT how much per hour?

Hi not sure if this is in the right place justr wondering how much roughly 400 watts cost an hour

    1000 watts is around 10-16p depending on your supplier so that will be around 4-6p roughly an hour

    You don't say what appliance uses the 400w, but if it has a thermostat it may not use that power all the time.

    Also many people look at the power supply rating on the appliance - e.g. a computer and assume it will be using 400w and it won't be using anything like that amount.

    For instance my PC has a 750w power supply, but rarely uses more than 160w.

    Are you talking about a 400w light? Thats how I took it because its int he green section.

    Before starting an indoor garden think about how much it will cost to have the electrics running, and how much you would save from buying veg from the supermarket.

    Having an indoor garden can be very expensive.

    oh m,y undefloor heating takes 400w and has been on now for 2 months solid. oops
