    Well. I will never be the new Nigella..
    I thought things might be going just a TAD wrong when the recipe said" sprinkle on top of the mincemeat"...I looked down and I had this wodge of solid concrete-like stuff. Not much chance of sprinkling that lot was there?
    And then ... the microwavable meringues went on fire inside the microwave..:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
    Well I never liked xmas any way !
  • For anyone who struggled a bit with home made goodies this year, I have just bought this book. I found it through a post on the Grabbit board by competitionscafe about the Book People January Sale. There is also a code for free delivery. :wink:

    I made a few chocs this year using silicon ice cube moulds and they worked well. Heart shaped Bailey's truffles and star shaped hazlenut pralines as well as peppermint creams, dark truffles, fudge and tablet.
