B&Q has announced that its sale is to start on Christmas Eve. In the case of its 'half price kitchens' offer, this means that stock will be reduced to the amount it was before they doubled the price at the end of November. No bargains here then.
It's hard to have any sympathy for retailers if the behave like this. When will they learn that we don't like being taken for mugs?

They are currently selling a 'wine' cupboard for £60 :eek: that was on sale for £15 a while ago. What a scam! I guess I'll wait until the 75% off sales!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks for that. I was told by two branches that the prices doubled on 23 Dec. They then halved on 24 Dec. Unless they were on sale at the doubled price for at least 28 days in the previous six months, they are breaking the law. Anyone any info?0 -
As long as it was 28 days in at least 1 shop they are OK, it does not have to be all the shops0
