Well not quite Christmas injury but the week before Christmas after visiting our son in hospital we were involved in car crash and I got a fractured sternum .......ouch.Luckily my son and myself had done all our Christmas shopping early this year (1st time ever)
A few years ago one of my mum's friends was walking down the road on Christmas Eve and it was really windy .... so windy she got blown over (elderly lady, small and slim) Anyway she got taken to A & E said she had bruised her shoulder and sent her home - Christmas Day she rang my mum crying on the phone ... she was in a lot of pain so we ended up taking her back to A & E on Christmas Day - turns out she had actually broken her collarbone and because they were so busy on Christmas Eve no one had noticed and sent her home:eek:
