One of things I always do to try and make christmas dinner a bit special is to make the table look nice so i thoughts I'd post and see what other people do. This year my table will be.
White table cloth - already got
Purple Runner - Last year from asda
Snowflake candle holders - Last year again (tealights this year)
Purple Crackers - £2.50 half price from sainsburys
Cloth Napkins - Napkins from last year but folded as suggested on this site http://www.napkinfoldingguide.com/19-diamondpouch/
Christmas pudding table favours - I got them cheap last year from sainsburys and kept them and replaced the chocolates inside with lindt snowballs (from an lindt outlet store where I could just buy the 8 i needed for 80p rather than a packet for £2 from the supermarket)
My knifes and forks are my normal ones (there plain) as our my plates which are just white anyhow. Although i admit my gravy boat gets its annual usage! (£1.50 from Morrisons a couple of years ago).
So what do other people do for their table?
