Based on what?
The government should force Tesco to sell me Bread at 10p a loaf, the plumber to come out and fix my boiler for £6 an hour, a lawyer to do your legal work for £15?0 -

A very quick way to make all lenders go bust! No margin whatsoever.0 -

And I suppose yr including the GMAC/MEX self cert and adverse in this!0 -
When I was young my parents were on a council house list but there weren't any. They were then offered a set fixed mortgage for 25 years repayment (expired if you moved) to help these people secure a family home privately. I think it was 6% and run by the council. Don't know about deposits.
Back then I'm not sure if adverse credit really existed as if you didn't earn it you couldn't spend it!0 -
How would somone know if their mortgage was underwritten by GMAC or B&B/Mortgage Express - is there a definative date? Mine was taken out November 2007 and I am trying to work out what approx. mortgage payments will be when fixed rate ends (not for a while - just trying to work out for rough cash flow estimates!)
ThanksPaying down the mortgage:
At 1 October 2011: £226,000
Currently: £224,499
Aim: 85% LTV (£212,500)
Paid £1,500
Target remaining: 88.89%0 -

Hi Signalbox i have just checked my mortgage offer and it states that i am on a variable rate at the time march 07, 6.34% with a discount of 0.91% for the term of the mortgage, it dont tell me if ts a svr rate or a pvr rate, the last rate change tey only gave me 0.16% does that mean they have to give me the full rate cut last month and the full rate cut this month? I am realy confused now as i have noticed they have changed there website from stating that all Variables are tracked by about 1.5% above the base rate?
Your advice would be appreaciated
Martin any views on this one?
