Mortgage gone up by 50%???

Hi there,
just had the shock of the day.

Currently working as a freelancer as in between jobs. So get paid sporadicly. Anyway, could nt make the mortgage payment on time as I hadnt been paid and asked for a payment date in the same months just 10 days later. B&W whad no problem with that. Mortgage came out this morning and normal monthly payment increaseed by £455!!!!!

Rang them straight away and they said it must be an admin mistake and they would refund the money in the next 5 days. Phweeeewww!
But what about the interest???? Can I claim that back from them????

Many thanks
Susann

No reason why you can't ask but work it out first.
I would guess it would be quite small for a few days (and you are probably taxed on savings interest), so it may well not be worth the cost of a stamp or phone call.
