Is the mortgage part of the debt fr a DFW?

May seem like an odd question but it is a debt.

However I see many people's lists only consisting of their non mortgage debts and there is a seperate board for MFW's so I guess it's not included on this board?

It's generally not included, no. You can if you want, but it'll make your debt-free date really depressing!

I include mine. As far as I am concerned it is a debt to attack but I know others don't view it that way. personal preferance I think

I take the view that it's in lieu of rent and I doubt that anyone really thinks of rent as debt.

I don't include my mortgage as part of my DFW journey, simply because my other debts are the priorty to get cleared. Having said that, my secured loan IS included in my dfw journey.

Once I am left with just my mortgage, I will be very happy to have that in my signature and tackle that as a separate thing - until then, it is nicely bobbing along in the background!

I don't include mine in my debt free journey but the minute the rest of the debts are cleared I shall be moving on to that and joining the mortgage free wannabes :D
