For the past 24 hours, when I try to get on Facebook, it comes up saying:
"Sorry, an error has occurred.
We're working on getting this fixed as soon as we can."
I can log on through my mobile phone and also on my other computer, but not my laptop. Have I got a virus? I have done a full scan with McAfee but it hasn't found anything.
Help! Don't know what i'll do without facey! :rotfl:

Does it work in Firefox?0

Erm, I don't have Firefox. Would that help? You'll have to excuse me for being a bit of a moron when it comes to computers!0

Often the site is down for some user accounts for a while, whilst they update it - so just try again later. But if it persists, you could clear out all your cookies and temp data from your browser (usually from options in the in the Tools menu), or just download the excellent, and free, CCleaner and run that.0

Hey, thanks for all the advice, tried deleting cookies, but it didn't help, still coming up with the error page. After a bit of googling, I found that if you enter facebook.com/login, instead of just facebook.com, then it'll bring up a proper page and you can get in that way. HTH anyone that may have the same problem in future!0

Same problem here. Won't work with IE, but does work (in a fashion) with Firefox. With Firefox the comment buttons don't respond, so I'm getting a bit hacked off with it.
Does anyone have any idea why Firefox won't allow me to press the "comment" or "reply" buttons?Happy chappy0 -

Had this problena dn found this works. Do a search for anything that might be on facebook (eg:- bowling on facebook). When the results come up, sleect one directign to FB. You will get to s acreen which allows the login details to be entered. Once in, log out and then your normal login should work0
