"Babycare Bradford" non-refund of postage

Hello everyone, and nearly Merry Christmas
...we need some help and advice on the Sale of Goods Act, specifically the refund of postage.
Recently we purchased a baby 'swivel bath seat' from Babycare Bradford.
The seat arrived with what appeared to be mould on the suction cups where it attaches to the bath. Especially as the item if for a baby to use in water, we wanted a replacement but had to return the item to Babycare Bradford at £4.20 first.
I spoke with Trading Standards and they told us that we could return it and expect the postage cost refunded to us as it had not arrived in satisfactory condition.
Babycare Bradford then told us that they believe the suction cups are actually stained with paint, and that it is not mould. They are willing to refund the cost the purchase, but not of the postage.
Do we have any way of getting our postage back? It was a bulky item and cost £4.20 to send. The item itself cost about £10 so it is quite a loss, almost half the price of the item in the first place.
I have told Babycare Bradford that Trading Standards have said that no customer must be left 'out of pocket' on a purchase. Even if we were wrong, and the marks were not mould, should Babycare Bradford refund our postage? The item was certainly not received in satisfactory condition,
Many thanks for your help and advice!

Just do a chargeback at your bank or credit card company, saying the goods recieved were not of merchantable quality - which they've pretty much admitted by offering you a refund of the goods price.0

Hello... I will contact my bank and see if they will do that. Thank you! And will post the outcome here.0

So they expect you to accept a bath seat that has suction cups that are "stained with paint"? I am not sure so don't quote me, but I would have thought that any "staining" of that sort would leave the suction cups less efficient and mean that the seat may not attach to the bath properly and thus cause an accident! I am AMAZED they expect you to accept any deficient baby equipment! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Hi there. LloydsTSB won't chargeback my money, so I'll try Trading Standards again.0 -
Babycare Bradford have just e-mail to say they will also refund the postage now... so hopefully will be getting all the money back soon!
Very good result and service then!0
