Is there a minimum spend to get free postage?

I have gone through the screens and put in the code and it said it was accepted, but when on the checkout page where you put your credit card, it has not taken it off and the postage is more than the books!

Did the same for me, accepted the code and then on final screen charged for postage?? guess there is a minimum spend????
