A nice find but in all honesty you can get better anti-virus packages for free anyway.
I'd rather live with a virus on my computer than Norton or McAfee, and most techies will agree with me on that!0 -

Im a "techie" and i would say this is a great find! Although its not the greatest software around for novice users its fantastic, especially if youve a new laptop with that bloody norton installed!! ive used mcafee for a few years and it has never let me down. most of my day is spent on the internet downloading and trailling.

im surprised you cant stop the automatic scan. my mcafee has an easy tick option, if anything, you could easily disable mcafee from doing this by using the 'run' option in the 'start' menu. as a computer boffin im sure you can figure this out0 -
