How do I connect to the 'net?

I have a Lynksys Wireless home gateway and I intend to plug a Belkin USB wireless adaptor into my second 'puter to access the internet.
Is that how it's done?
Obviously I need to put a browser on second machine but do I need any other software?
Do I need to do anything with my wireless router and firewall (Comodo)?
Anyone?

needs the CD that goes with the Belkin adapter install first to put their wireless utility on and install the drivers , then plug in and let it install
should then show a list of available networks , pick yours , enter the wireless key and bobs your uncle
may need a reboot to get it working properly , if the Belkin software plays up then untick the box that says let the software manage the connection and use the Xp WZC connection to do itEx forum ambassador
