i know exactly how u feel.... halifax changed all solo debit cards over to visa electron saying they were more widely accepted... but i haven't found that at all!!

I found the invisible playing cards. :cool: Never mind.
Sometimes I register the card as Visa, not visa electron and it still goes through, other times it will automaticaly know that the debit card is a visa electron , i think through the card no.

I have asked Halifax how i can go about gettign my v.electron turned back to solo , the lady said the same thing to me.

Even the shops that do accept them on the high st. have loads of trouble with the transactions going through ok. :rolleyes:
