Mortgage Credit help

Hi again
I think I'm in a good position. I have an offer accepted on a house and I have a mortgage agreed in principal, theres just a few things I'm worried about before I go ahead.
Im concerned about the credit check, its not that I think I have bad credit just not really any credit. No credit cards, no bills coming in rented accomodation. Im also registered to vote at my parents address.
So if I had bad credit and I think I might, it may be due to an incident with a broadband provider about 3/4 years ago does my deposit for the mortgage affect my application?
As far as I know I do not have any ccj's
The house is 120k I have a 50k deposit is it possible that would swing any credit problems?
honestly thanks for any help

Martin has provided lots of useful links here.
You can check your own credit rating situation for yourself.

I would be loathed to send my documents to them. They have assumed a profitable role in deciding who is fit to receive loans of money or not. Perhaps they should have local walk in offices where you can discuss you , yourself and your identity in person. rather than trust your documents to the post.

I would think your "Agreement In Principle" was issued after a credit check.
While it's not a guarantee, any significant nasties in your credit file should have been outed by this.

Halifax told me there was no issue with my credit, scored a 'B' whatever that means, they agreed to lend to lend me the money if I go with them , thanks0
