  • I bought one of the Philips HDD jukeboxes for my daughters birthday in November and ended up returning it and getting an iPod instead. The software is incredibly clunky and I only managed to transfer a couple of tracks to it, only one of which would play, despite several hours messing about. ISTR that it doesn't show in windows as a removable HD either so no drag 'n drop....or there was some reason why you couldn't drag 'n drop to it I think. Anyway, wasn't at all impressed with it and I certainly wouldn't buy another. Perhaps I was just unlucky?!

  • I got one a little bit earlier, and am generally pleased with it, although I agree about the software. Also, with 13Gb of music, it's quite slow to turn on and start playing music (about 3 or 4 minutes).
(There are homebrew alternatives to using the official software out there.)
