I have been on lots of Uk sites and can get the price down by about £400 (its £2250 in the shops)
I think that with customs and vat, it will still be too expensive to ship from America.
Are there any other countries that people have bought from, tat are safe and reliable? Switzerland perhaps ?
It is this model btw 1267.75.00

Go into a high street jewellers and barter with them, recently bought a Tag from Goldsmiths and got 22% off, works out a little better then the £400 off you're getting by buying online but obviously much more assured.2p off is still 2p off!0

I asked on another post about how to barter. I tried it at the weekend and was told that they cant drop the price as Tag / Omega set the prices. And they also pushed interest free credit should affordability be an issue. I mentioned how much they were on the internet but they were not interested. Think I will try another branch, but could you tell me how you went about it, and if it was difficult?0 -
Not difficult at all, I've had 15% off a Tag (at the time they were trying to sell me an Omega instead which was on sale and they were offering me 15% off that too) from Beaverbrooks and about 22% off a Tag from Goldsmiths. Both times I bartered with the store manager but most high street jewellers ahve a % they can knock off, 10% at some places and 17.5% at others. I got the initial 17.5% and kept on pushing the figure down and rounding it off. HTH, also someone did mention on a post in the past getting a Tag from a Tag discount retail shop, not sure if Omega have anything similar.2p off is still 2p off!0

Lally,
I have an Omega Constellation, which I bought from Goldsmiths (in Leeds) and got 15% off in the shop.0
